Christina Hamalian is an associate attorney with Wallen Kelley and focuses her practice on insurance defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina’s practice involved civil litigation representing insurance carriers in insurance coverage disputes and third-party liability lawsuits.
Christina began her career working as in-house counsel for a specialty finance company and represented the company in courts throughout Florida to complete structured settlement transfers. Christina also handled unemployment claims before the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Christina routinely advised the company on a myriad of legal issues including employment law, compliance, and the impact of legislative changes on business.
Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics from the Wilkes Honors College, manga cum laude, in 2011. Christina received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Christina was the Notes Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review. She was also a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and a recipient of the Dean’s Community Service Award.
