Emeka Umeadi began his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Springfield, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. He later transferred and completed his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at the University of Illinois Chicago. Emeka went on to obtain a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Roosevelt University, before obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Emeka served as a member of the Supreme Court for the Student Bar Association; he was founding member of the Student Health Law Association; he was inducted into the Society of Bar & Gavel; and he was a member of the Black Law Students Association. He also worked as an intern for the Honorable Patrick A. White at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Emeka is an associate at the firm and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and insurance-coverage litigation.
