Lyda M. Torres

Lyda began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade where she tried over 20 jury trials and represented indigent clients facing the most serious criminal charges.  She’s since gone on to handle personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation cases.

Lyda received her Juris Doctor Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school she was a member of the St. Thomas University School of Law Moot Court Board serving as the Vice President of Membership as well as a competitor, and a member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida International University where she graduated magna cum laude.
