University of Massachusetts at Lowell, B.A.; University of Miami, J. D.; Baylor Law School, Executive L.L.M.
Member of the Florida Bar. Admitted to practice in the Federal Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Andreas has over 20 years’ experience in first party property, trucking/motor vehicle accidents, negligent security, professional, premises, and product
liability litigation. He currently manages a docket of trucking & motor vehicle accident pre-suit and litigation matters, with a team including associates,
paralegals, and support staff, as well as experts and consultants where necessary.
Andreas also represents insurers in first party property claims, and litigates premises liability, insurance coverage, and real property litigation.
Before joining Wallen Kelley, Andreas worked at a large & respected Florida insurance defense firm as panel counsel for several national & Florida
insurers, in trucking & motor vehicle defense, first party property defense, and premises & product liability defense. He has previously worked as a solo
practitioner, representing individuals and businesses in trucking & commercial vehicle litigation, automobile accident negligence, personal injury,
commercial and foreclosure litigation. Prior to that, he practiced insurance defense and product liability defense, arising primarily out of trucking and
automobile accident litigation. In 2017, Andreas was certified as a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court in Circuit Civil Courts. He has also handled a
variety of commercial litigation matters.
During the COVID-19 period when litigation was stalled, Andreas implemented a pre-suit voluntary protocol in trucking & motor vehicle claims, to assist in
resolving those claims on behalf of insurers. That protocol provided for limited informal discovery and a settlement conference (with or without a
mediator) and was highly effective in reducing a bottle-necking docket and resulted in early resolution of claims at favorable settlement ranges. Although
the success of that protocol was partly due to the closure of the courts, he has continued to offer it on behalf of his clients, and it remains an effective
resource to assist in managing the firm’s dockets.
In 2025, Andreas obtained his Executive LLM in Litigation Management from Baylor Law School. This program focused on analyzing litigation and
enhancing best practices, to make litigation more efficient and more effective, utilizing well-established business principles as applied to the practice of
litigation. This advanced degree has contributed to the firm’s institution of protocols that have contributed to reaching mutually beneficial goals for its
clients. Andreas is the president of his homeowners’ association, a position he has cumulatively held for close to 15 of the past 20 years. He is active in his
church and spends his free time with his wife and children and their two dogs. He is fluent in German and has a basic understanding of Spanish.
